Neste momento, estão em estúdio a preparar o segundo albúm e já deram a conhecer duas das músicas novas: “You Hate The Way I Feel” e "Twister Space". Até agora, o nome do novo álbum ainda não foi revelado.

Qual foi o momento das vossas vidas em que perceberam que queriam começar a fazer música?

-Eu cresci como sendo uma rapaz mariquinhas. Descobri que dedicar-me à música seria a única maneira de tornar-me fixe.

Como podem descrever o vosso processo criativo?

-Nós chegamos ao escritório às 9h, todos os dias, e começamos a trabalhar sobre os arranjos das músicas. Antes disso, claro, vamos a todas as festas, apaixonamos-nos, rixas em bares e infinitas conversas parvas na carrinha da tour.

-The Virgin Suicides (As Virgens Suicidas) …

O que esperam alcançar em 2017?

-Conquistar a República da China. Nós vamos fazer uma tour desde Berlim até Shangai, na primavera, o que é bastante excitante para nós! E também produzir um excelente segundo álbum.

Virgin Suicide are a band from Silkeborg, Denmark. The band has 5 members: Martin Grønne (vocals and guitar), Terkel Røjle (guitar), Kristian Bønløkke (keyboard) and Simon Thoft Jensen (drums).

The five boys met during high school in Silkeborg and, after finishing the last year, they moved to Copenhagen (current home), where they formed the band in 2012.

The band's first single came out in 2012, entitled "Virgin Suicide". Only in 2015, they released their first album: "Virgin Suicide"; it included their first single. After this, the band has played lots of concerts, all over Europe. The sound of The Virgin Suicide is very peculiar: "with roots in the 60’s rock with a touch of British jangle pop of the 80’s," according to Nosey.

At the moment, they are in the studio preparing the second album and they have already released two of the new songs: "You Hate The Way I Feel" and "Twister Space". So far, the name of the new album has not yet been revealed.

What was the moment in your life that you decided you wanted to make music?
- I grew up as a sissy lad. Found out that playing music was the only way to make that a cool thing.

How would you describe your creative process?
- We show up at the office 9 am every day and start working on the ideas to arrange the songs. Before that, of course, we do all the parties, the falling in love, the conflicts at the bar and the endless talking gibberish in the tour van.

- The Virgin Suicides…

What do you hope to accomplish in 2017?
- To conquer the republic of China. We are going on a tour from Beijing to Shanghai in the spring, so that’s very thrilling to us! Also to make a great second album.
